Summary of the Risk Taking BehaviourA percentage of teenagers in today's Australian society participate in the use of Drugs and Alcohol. Many teenagers undertake this risk taking behavior due to peer-pressure or as a form of relaxation, socialisation or out of curiosity. The most commonly used drugs by teenagers in Australia include Alcohol, Cannabis and Tobacco- contained in cigarettes. We can reduce the use of drugs in our community by making teenagers more aware of the consequences, and strategies to avoid the risk taking behavior, these topics are further discussed in the pages located on the top banner of this site.
